Why Would I Need an EMG or Nerve Test?
You may need to test the electrical signals of your muscles at rest and in use to find out if you need help. This will allow your doctor or nurse practitioner to see if you have any disorders in your muscles, and/or nerves. You may need one or both of these types of tests if you have been experiencing any recent:
- Numbness or Tingling
- Muscle Cramps, Spasms, etc.
- Muscle Weakness
- Loss of Muscle Strength/Function (Paralysis)
